Based on the longstanding experience in the design and manufacture of vacuum pump systems, Leybold offers standardized pump systems which will match most applications – the TRIVAC pump systems. TRIVAC pump systems excel by being compact, reliable and service-friendly. 

The two to three stage oil sealed TRIVAC pump systems are equipped with TRIVAC as fore vacuum pump combined with RUVAC WA(U), WS(U). In single-flow arrangements suction speeds of 250 to 501 are possible. Higher suction speeds can be achieved by adding pumps systems in parallel. The achievable working pressure depends on the number of pump stages and of pump systems in parallel.

The pump systems are equipped as standard with 400 V, 50 Hz und 460V, 60Hz three phase motors. Motors for special supply voltages, special mains frequencies or explosion protected pumps are available.

TRIVAC systems are also used as backing pump sets for high vacuum systems in combination with diffusion pumps, turbomolecular pumps and cryopumps. Leybold pump systems are rated according to CE, ISO, DIN and VDE regulations.

The innovative Leybold SOGEVAC B single-stage oil sealed rotary vane pumps are ideal for modern industrial applications distinguished by low noise levels, high pumping speeds and high reliability. SOGEVAC B pumps have a pumping capacity range from 10 to 750 m3/h @ 50 Hz with an ultimate pressure of ≤ 8 X 10-2 mbar.

The rotor, having three slots in which the vanes slide, is eccentrically installed in a pump cylinder (stator). The vanes separate the interior space into three chambers. The volume of these chambers varies with the rotation of the rotor. The gas sucked into the inlet chamber is compressed and then pushed out through the exhaust valve. The oil injected in the inlet chamber guarantees the air-tightness, lubrication and cooling of the pump. It is dragged off by the compressed gases and roughly separated by gravity when entering in the oil sump. A fine separation is then operated in the exhaust filter, with an oil loss of below 1 ppm which is a benchmark in the industry.
